The season 13 of Apex Legends is just around the corner and the players can look forward to a new storm point POI, a new legend and some violent ranking changes in the upcoming update. The only feature that inspires us is the new IMC Armouries from Storm Point. These places are home to the Smart Supply Bins from Apex Legends and will play an important role in getting the best prey while playing on Storm Point. However, it will not be as easy to get this prey as fighting against a few waves of Spectres. In conversation with The PC player 24, Senior Game Designer Samantha Kalman revealed that IMC Armouries are “use per game”.

Yes, you read properly – and we heard it right. Apex Legends players can only activate and use the new IMC weapons chambers of Storm Point once per game-and since only four of them are scattered on the map at the start, it will not be easy to jump in and harvest the rewards undisturbed.

Kalman explained the decision of respawn entertainment to use the use of an IMC weapons chamber at once per game, and explained that the development team had to think about “what happens when the ring closes nearby” and how they would influence the last phases of a game.

When an IMC weapon chamber is activated, all entrances are blocked and the players start a 60-second showdown against Spectres. It is easy to see why this would cause problems in and around a last circle – not to mention the fact that players can lock themselves, protect themselves from enemies for a whole minute and come out with seriously improved prey.

Kalman continued to comment that these areas will be “skirmish-capable places” depending on the context of the district and that after activation, the players can still access IMC weapons chambers. We don’t yet know how – but either way, it’s good news for players who want to look around but come a little late to the party.

If you want to use more shameful tactics to win your games, players can also hide in an IMC weapon chamber and attack others in search of prey-there is no occupancy limit for these structures. However, be warned: “Do not discriminate against ghosts,” says Kalman, and the Smart Supply Bin loop is tailored to the squad, which activates the IMC weapon chamber at all.

So it is important to make sure that you don’t bite a little more than you can chew if you want to try this.

However, IMC armories are not the only thing you can look forward to in Apex Legends.
