In January 2022 she was revealed, the new annual-fitting story of The Elder Scrolls Online around the legacy of Breton’s . The start-DLC Ascending Tide has already been available since March. In June, the big chapter High Isle is on the program. More specifically: from 6 June 2022 on PC / Mac / Stadia or from 21 June 2022 on Xbox and PlayStation. In the course of the revelation, there was already a view of the features of the chapter:

• A new area that presents you the islands of High Island and Amenos
• A complex main story full of politics, honor and intrigues connecting the year-round saying “Legacy of Bretons”
• Glores stories as a new system and collective card game in the game

A few days ago, Creative Director Rich Lambert had taken the time to tell us new details about The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle. In addition, we were allowed to play in the chapter for the first time and look at new features like the glory stories in detail. Yesterday, on April 14, 2022, at 22:00, the big Preview stream took place, where the Zenimax developers have betrayed more details to all the features mentioned above. Below we have summarized the most important findings from the event.

In the course of the stream, the Teso team has published the new gameplay trailer, which is intended for the adventure on the high island:

Departure in a new world

Through the chapter we finally learn more about the backgrounds and roots of the Breton’s knight culture and the feudal society of Bretons. After all, high island is the place where the nobility can be done well, tags well. But we also get it with Druids who somehow communicate with the volcanic locks (the new Open World Event), which break out of the ground anywhere.

Noblesse oblige

Both islands in combination should come to a comparable land circumference, as the areas of the last chapters. Also clear: High Isle is not only aimed at Tamriel veterans, but also to all newcomers – flexible step scaling. Overall, more than 30 hours of quest content should be stuck in the new chapter. The focus is on – how can it be differently when the nobility of the Bretons is involved – political intrigues, surprising alliances and fatal conspiracy.

On high island, three different knight orders, all of them have their own beliefs and values and that fame and honor means everything. To do this, the people of the middle and underlayer who always strive to climb the social ladder upwards, according to the motto: we are bretons, we can do everything!
