An entry on the official website of the Horror Game Resident Evil Village, in the Polish Xbox Store, fueled the great hope at fans, the game could soon appear in the Xbox Game Pass. Since then, many of you have certainly been waiting for a speedy announcement.

This lieved Larry Hryb, Alias Major Nelson, now a cancellation. He realized about Twitter that this was a mistake that was now removed.

“Currently there are no plans Resident Evil Village to bring in the Game Pass,” he continued to proclaim.

Anyway, rumors have already been laughed at internal documents shortly before the publication of the game. So there should be an agreement between Sony and Capcom, which excludes a release in competing services, such as the Xbox Game Pass or Stadia Pro, for at least one year. It remains to be seen which plans Capcom will have in the future to publish Resident Evil Village in Xbox Game Pass or similar services.
