The internationally established “Global Sustainability Benchmark in Sports” based in London examines how sustainable clubs work. The independent non-profit organization analyzes the sustainability performance of large associations and associations based on a scientific approach and encourages professional sports organizations into more transparency and sustainable behavior.

GSBS now introduced initial results of over 40 organizations and unite and distinguished them with awards. The BVB secured the first place twice. In the category “Best Corporate Performance” and in the special category “Best Total Performance” Dortmund landed at the top.
